I. No godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, Mary Sues or Gary Stus. If you don't know what those are, Google is your best friend.
Ii. Use a separate form for out-of-character posts and comments. I don't mind what you use as long as it's easily distinguishable from your in-character posts.
Iii. This is a literate roleplaying site; no chatspeak in-character. Please try to use proper spelling and grammar as well - at least when roleplaying. Of course, if part of your character's personality is that they have bad grammar, feel free to use it within reason. Also, while it's not a strict rule, try to make your posts a hundred words or more - if that seems lofty for you, it's something to work towards! Nobody's going to ban you if your post is shorter, don't worry.
Iv. Liquid time is allowed! Just use your own judgment when it comes to timelines.
V. You are allowed as many characters as you want, including shinies. No glitch Pokémon or fakemon are allowed period, and legends must be bought. (for a list of legends, see here)
Vi. You may create up to two unevolved characters with one starting alteration for free. After that, certain rules apply: firstly, they must start out as unevolved and unaltered unless their evolution/alteration is bought. They are allowed four moves, any number of which may be egg moves, tutor moves, or TM moves (unless the character's alteration is their moveset). In addition, this site uses a character-per-account system; you are allowed an out-of-character account if you wish, but it's not mandatory. All characters are free, but additions past the first two must be bought.
Vii. All Pokémon automatically have all of their possible abilities, including hidden ones. Take advantage (or disadvantage) of this in combat! Also, keep in mind that an ability alteration will negate all natural abilities.
Viii. This is a PG-13 roleplay; violence, romance, and cussing are allowed so long as you don't overdo it. Death is also allowed and even encouraged, but no killing another character without permission from the roleplayer.
Ix. Be nice. Sure, you don't have to like everybody, but don't be a total jerk. As a general rule, if someone asks you to stop, cut it out.
X. Confused? Don't be afraid to ask! We're always open to suggestions, and clarity will make everyone's lives easier.
