In the deep, dark cavern, skittering sounds filled the air. A large number of Pokemon lived here, but not many of them wanted to be seen. Therefore, when a light came around the corner of the tunnel, the skittering increased to a frenzied pace, along with a few squeaks and yelps, and then total silence followed. Within this light came a lone Vulpix. She was almost light brown instead of reddish, and a Premier ball sat strapped on her left shoulder. Black fang shaped marks marked her muzzle's sides, pointing to the ceiling, and a mark on her forehead could only be described as the Yang side of a yin yang symbol. Her name was Angelwisp, but most just called her Angel. Her mission here was to find and tag a Paras; but she couldn't find one, much less tag one. if only she didn't have this stupid ability! Drought caused a permanent sun to hang over her, empowering all fire based moves, but she was also therefore an eternal light, able to see in this darkness but also easily able to be seen, unlike the creatures lurking in here who had no problem with the dark. So, her best bet may be to simply find someone willing to help her, or else a Paras brave enough to wander into the light. until then, she was just going to wander around, hoping for a bit of luck...

Angel wandered around a corner, hoping to find a bit of luck, but still all she could find was skittering and chattering and empty stone halls. in frustration she shouted out and fired a small bullet of flame from her maw, which soared ahead and exploded against a wall, temporarily illuminating the entire space to reveal a crowd of startled Pokemon not three feet from her sunlight. unfortunately, none wished to run back into her light to escape, foiling her short-lived plan. defeated temporarily, Angel sat down. a rumble in her stomach reminded her of her need for food, and she rummaged around in the Premier ball strapped to her back for a berry, pulling out an Oran. crunching the citrus treat, she pondered her task. if only someone would come and help her before she ran out of food! no creature of darkness was curious enough to investigate her, and she couldn't outrun them for some reason... so again, luck would have to be on her side, or else a Pokemon that could go into the darkness for her...

SOULDANCE & RIGBY The cave was never close to silent for those who had ears, and in Rigby's opinion Noiverns had far more ear than was necessary. It was no wonder that, while her brother was out like a stalactite, Rigby herself was wide awake and pondering in the less-than-pitch darkness. Even with the noise, it was far more pleasant to be here than in the outside world, where it was all light and chaos. At the very least, it was stressful to a reclusive cave creature like herself. She'd never understood how Souldance could stand it. A loud noise jarred her from her thoughts, followed by a flash of light. Indeed, now that she thought about it, there was a faint glow coming from further down the cavern, and she didn't like it, to say the least. What kind of miserable wretch would dare bring light into this sacred haven for lovers of the darkness? Hissing in anger, she turned to her brother and prodded him to no avail, instead opting to investigate alone. Dropping from her ceiling nook, Rigby swooped to the earth and clattered to the stone floor nimbly. Her eyes burned with loathing as she rounded a corner, notably absent of any Pokémon beyond whatever was causing that damned light. Her eyes unadjusted, she couldn't make out who or what it was, but that didn't matter. Even Souldance himself had no right to do a thing like this. "What in the name of Giratina do you think you're doing?" she spat.

The Vulpix had just finished her small snack when an angry hiss and a shout demanding her reasons for being there attracted her attention. Sighing, she got up and looked out into the direction of the shout. Of course the one pokemon to finally gain the courage to approach her was ticked off at her… she couldn’t quite make out the figure above her, but it looked large and angry… “I am perfoming a task, rather difficult for me due to the obvious thing here with my permanent light… would you mind helping me out so I could leave? I don’t have all day and you obviously don’t like me being here.” perhaps, with a bit of luck, she could get this done and over with.... as if luck was on her side at the moment...
